Fair Warning

We just wanted to give everyone an opportunity to get started on their journey to Jacksonville.  Tomorrow, Wednesday, Lauren will be induced, if nothing happens before then.  So, if you were planning to come meet Leland, here is your fair warning of his arrival.

FYI

In order to keep everyone in the loop and up to date, I (Lance) will be posting updates on the status of Lauren and Leland, throughout the entire event.  As of right this second, nothing is happening, just a few contractions here and there, but nothing worth calling the doctor about.  I will posting the status updates on my Facebook account, click here to view.  If you do not have a Facebook account, you could get one, or just find a relative and ask them to forward you the updates.  Just to reiterate this again, nothing has happened as of right now.  Thanks for your prayers.

We are on the Hunt for a Home!

ONLY 11 WEEKS LEFT! and we are on the hunt for a new home.  As we started talking about the legistics of a new baby and being on the 3rd floor we decided that this was the time God had for us to start looking:)  Please keep us in your prayers as we seek God's best for us and our little growing Leland.

We have had so much fun feeling out little Leland moving.  He is brutal at times but it so fun to know that he's doing well.  Lauren's doctor appointments are getting closer together as she works her way to the end.  The anticipation is almost too much for us to handle.

It's all coming together!

As we get closer and closer to the end (only 16 weeks to go) the nesting bug has begun!  We wanted to give you a look into Leland's room:) Of course it's not all finished yet but will be by the time he gets here.  The belly continues to grow and Leland is quickly running out of room.  He is also sitting very low which is causing Lauren a little discomfort by the end of the day with back pain.  It is all manageable at this point but of course we know that he will only get bigger!  Lauren has her glucose tolerance test next Tuesday, February 2nd, to test for Gestational Diabetes.  Keep her in your prayers as she has to give blood, which she HATES! 

We've also had a great time at Babies-R-Us and Target, well at least Lauren has.  She has been so thankful for Lance's involvement and willingness to go down each and every isle to make sure we thought of everything on our registries.  It has been awesome to have him want to be involved and love it just as much as Lauren has.   


We will begin posting more often as we get closer!  We can't wait for everyone to meet our little Leland Michael!
